 owledge you need to be a safe and effective shooter\, and establish correc
 t habits that will set you up for success. You will learn how handguns fun
 ction\, safe handling\, loading and unloading\, how to grip your handgun\,
  proper body position and stance\, using your handgun's sights\, hitting y
 our target\, etc.
 This foundational course covers the fundamentals of ha
 ndgun shooting. If you are a first time handgun owner or unsure how to hol
 d your handgun\, load your magazine\, shoot what you are aiming at\, or ac
 t in the range\, this course is for you. We start in the classroom coverin
 g safety\, range etiquette and proper stance to hit your target. The rest 
 of the class will be on the range\, and you will shoot up to 150 rounds of
  ammunition. You will leave with the foundational knowledge so you can com
 e to the Handgun Proficiency class and feel prepared to learn additional s
 kills.
