The goal of this class is to help you become familiar with a modern semi-automatic handgun.

Night 1: We will cover in detail gun safety, loading and unloading a handgun, handgun cleaning and maintenance, safe storage in the home, and preparing to shoot a handgun for the first time. This class covers core fundamentals of shooting, which includes grip, stance, sight alignment, proper trigger pull, and more. No live shooting will be done night 1. This is conducted entirely in a comfortable classroom format to cover every detail of safe and effective handgun use, including answering all questions asked by students.

Night 2: Students will take what was learned in the classroom and apply it to live-fire training on the range. This hands-on night will re-emphasize safety, loading and unloading, and practical application of basic handgun shooting fundamentals. After completing this class, students will be able to confidently and safely operate a handgun wherever they go next!
