This class picks up where Ready Gunner Carbine 1 leaves off and introduces more dynamic shooting concepts and re-emphasizes marksmanship, safe and effective movement with a long gun, sling work, body position fundamentals, magazine changes and more.

Required Gear:

-A properly functioning carbine or rifle
-At least 3 magazines (5 are recommended)
-A minimum 200 rounds of rifle ammunition
-Magazine Pouches for the magazines
-A quality sling
-Shooting blanket (recommended)
-Firearm maintenance and cleaning supplies
-Sharpie type pen for marking targets
-Pen and notepad for taking notes
-Hat or other head covering
-Gloves (recommended but not mandatory)
-Knee and elbow pads
-Eye and ear protection
-Footwear that you can stand in all day (boots are highly recommended)
-Enough water supply to sustain you for the course
-Positive attitude

Prerequisites

-Ready Gunner Carbine 1 or Equivalent type course from another training organization (no exceptions)

After taking this course, participants will be prepared to take the following courses:

-Ready Gunner Handgun 1
-NTAC Defensive Carbine 1
-Any Skills Maintenance course
