The Nielsen Training and Consulting Tactical Carbine Clinic is designed for anyone from the first-time shooter to the weekend shooter or seasoned operator that wants some core fundamental skills building with the use of a Carbine or Rifle.  Todd Nielsen with his 17 years of Police Special Operations experience, will help you to become comfortable with the core fundamental skills of marksmanship, modern carbine fighting techniques, proper target acquisition, proper shot placement and multiple shooting positions to effectively win an armed encounter.  You will take home effective drills and techniques that you can use in your own training regime.  If you are a new rifle owner or recreational shooter looking to get into the tactical training world this is a great course to start with.  You will leave this course with a good understanding of how and why to set a zero on your rifle.  You will leave the course with a proper zero on your rifle.  It is also a good way for an experienced operator to build and hone their skills.  We look forward to seeing you in this fun and informative course.  You may use any AR variant, AK variant carbine in this course

1. A properly functioning carbine or rifle
   2. At least 3 magazines (5 are recommended)
   3.  300-500 rounds of rifle ammunition
   4.  Magazine Pouches for the magazines
   5.  A quality Sling
   6.  Body armor if you would wear it while deploying a carbine
   7.  Handgun and 3 magazines (recommended but not mandatory)
   8.  50 rounds of handgun ammunition (recommended but not mandatory)
   9.  Holster and magazine pouches (recommended but not mandatory)
   10. Sharpie type pen for marking targets
   11. Pen and notepad for taking notes
   12. Hat or other head covering
   13. Gloves (recommended but not mandatory)
   14. Knee and elbow pads
   15. Eye and ear protection
   16. Footwear that you can stand in all day (boots are highly recommended)
   17. Enough water supply to sustain you for the day
   18. Snack food to sustain you for each day’s instruction.
