This foundational course covers the fundamentals of handgun shooting. If you are a first time handgun owner or unsure how to hold your handgun, load your magazine, shoot what you are aiming at, or act in the range, this course is for you. We start in the classroom covering safety, range etiquette and proper stance to hit your target. The rest of the class will be on the range, and you will shoot up to 150 rounds of ammunition. You will leave with the foundational knowledge so you can come to the Handgun Proficiency class and feel prepared to learn additional skills.

Our Dynamic Rifle course will help you further build and improve the skills necessary to successfully prepare you for Defensive Rifle. Building on the knowledge you have previously acquired in Beginner Rifle, you will learn and practice basic movements, additional shooting positions and further understand the concepts of using a rifle in a defensive manner.

Students will become more proficient, smooth, and confident with their marksmanship and gun handling skills, which will take them to the intermediate level and prepare them for Defensive Handgun and the advanced courses beyond.

This course is designed to ensure you have an adequate foundation and understanding of safety, handling, and care, along with a new level of confidence in your ability handle and shoot your rifle. 

This class will provide an environment where you can openly ask questions about anything regarding your rifle. Others attending will be novice and beginner shooters with limited experience, the material covered is designed to be non-threatening and move at a pace that allows you to gain confidence and familiarity in your abilities.

Experience the capabilities of modern night vision technology in a hands-on demonstration environment. Participants will have the opportunity to look through and compare different night vision systems, learn how they work, and determine whether night vision is a good fit for their needs and training goals.

Gunfights aren't static- don't be a stationary target!  This live fire skills lab teaches you to fight while moving, and train to draw from concealment to fuse fluid movement with rapid deployment and precise accuracy.  Hone your essential skills to survive with your everyday carry firearm.  NTAC Defensive Rifle grads may bring a rifle or long gun to this course.
