Frank Xu is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, Utah State CCW Certified Instructor, Chief Range Officer (CRO) in USPSA, Safety Officer (SO) in IDPA, and a Master Class shooter in both USPSA and IDPA. Originally from Taiwan, Frank began his firearms journey during his service in the Taiwanese Army. After moving to the United States in 2013, he pursued his passion for shooting and sharpened his skills through competitive shooting, currently ranking 14th in the world in his division.

Frank’s dedication to excellence has earned him numerous titles, with victories in Carry Optics at prestigious events such as the USPSA State and Regional Championships, IDPA National Championships, and the IDPA World Championship. His competitive career, beginning in 2017 and continuing today, reflects consistent growth and elite-level performance.

Beyond his personal accomplishments, Frank is a dedicated instructor focused on cultivating shooting talent. In 2022, he trained individuals from Taiwan whose only prior experience was with airsoft, helping them earn awards at the IDPA National Championship. By 2024, he had successfully coached multiple trainees—including law enforcement officers and marine sergeants from Taiwan—half of whom went on to win multiple awards at major competitions. His training methods are widely recognized for being both effective and transformative for shooters of all levels.

Frank has been married since 2015, is a proud father of two boys, and is honored to be an American citizen.
