Staff Instructor
Natalia Cazan is a current registered paramedic and medical educator with a background in military and emergency services. She began her career as a military police officer in 2016 before transitioning into EMS at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in New York City, where she gained valuable frontline experience through both volunteer and municipal roles.
Natalia is deeply passionate about personal preparedness, with a focus on both defensive training and emergency medical readiness. Alongside her work in emergency medicine and teaching courses like CPR, first aid, and trauma response, she is a strong advocate for women’s self-defense. She taught women’s boxing in college and is an avid firearms enthusiast who believes confidence and safety come from being prepared for both medical and defensive situations.
Her approach to preparedness centers on covering all your bases—medical, defensive, and mental readiness—and she believes everyone, especially women, benefits from gaining practical skills and confidence to protect themselves and their families.”
