This one-day course will help you set up and define a core area of your home that your family can use as a safe area. We will teach you the dynamics of moving to your safe area, and how to set up and harden that area to protect yourself and your family. As part of this course, you will learn basic room clearing, areas of responsibility, and how you and others can work as a team. Part of this course utilizes various targets at different locations to help you develop the mindset of target identification and threat assessment. We will teach you how to pre-plan escape routes, what to tell responding Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and how the construction of your home must be considered when determining your home defense plan.
MINIMUM ROUND COUNT – 0 rounds. For this course, we utilize simulated (inert) firearms; there is NO live fire in this training.
